Welcome to MyPlissken.com. A website devoted to snakes. Particularly MY pet Corn snake, Plissken. I will be adding a lot more snake related content soon, including images, feeding videos and additional information about Plissken. But for now, what you see is what you get.
I bought Plissken in January of 2006. At the time I purchased the snake from my local pet store, I was told it was born the previous spring. I still do not know if Plissken is male or female. However, after performing the "popping" method to determine the sex, that the cloacal is so close to the end of the tail, I have resolved that Plissken is likely female. I had decided way before I purchased a snake that I would name it Plissken regardless of the sex of the snake. I got a corn snake because I was informed they are the ideal beginner snake for new snake owners. I got a black corn snake because I like the colors black and gray. Eventually I plan to have a section on this site for updated stats, measurements, etcetera regarding Plissken. |
