Only six and a half weeks since her last shedding, Plissken has shed again. The skin measured 36.5 inches. 2.5 inches larger than the previous shed skin. I wonder if I'm feeding her too much. Her head is barely the size of the tip of my pinky finger, so I don't feed her rodents that are that large, but I do typically feed her two at a time, once a week on average. Also, since it's summer her environment has been warmer. I'm guessing the warmer climate can speed up her metabolism and possibly promote a more rapid growth spurt. Now, I don't know if that's true, but I thought it sounded pretty good in theory. Also, since I've been feeding her frozen/thawed rodents lately (that's all that has been available at the pet store) I haven't been recording the feedings on video. However, I plan to feed her again on Thursday, so I'll see what's available then. View more pictures...
